Moving from Noida – Don’t Forget to Create Moving

Moving your home from Noida to a new city? A good
moving checklist can make your move much easier and simpler so that you can
enjoy your move in fun way. A moving checklist is necessary in order to have a
successful and hassle-free relocation of home.
8 weeks before the move
• If you have decided to hire a professional moving
company, choose right one that is not only economical but also reliable and
experienced.
• Ask your friends or relatives for recommendation of
professional packers and movers companies working in Noida.
• Ask previous clients and customers of movers to
confirm their quality services, experience and reliability.
• Ask for moving estimates from at least three moving
companies. Comparing multiple estimates will help you choose right one out of
many.
6 weeks before the move
• Make inventory of your household belongings such as
furniture, decorative items, electronic & electrical items, kitchen
appliances, kitchenware, apparels, home appliances, etc. Decide what to move,
replace, sell or donate to a charitable organization.
• Discontinue your local club membership, media
subscription, internet subscription, telephone subscription, etc. Change your
address from banks or financial institutions.
• Get copies of all medical, dental, bank, accounting,
and legal records. Gather school / college leaving certificates of your
children and arrange for transfer of education records.
• Make appropriate travel arrangement of your family
for moving day.
• If you are using professional services of Noida
Packers and Movers, obtain itemized pricing including packing, loading,
unloading, unpacking, extra charges and insurance.
4 weeks before the move
• Arrange a garage sale or auction to sell your old
and unneeded belongings.
• If hiring a professional mover to pack, make
schedule with the company for packing of household items to take place 2 days
before the day of your move.
• Purchase required packing supplies and strong moving
boxes of good quality. You may also request your moving company to provide
packing and moving supplies.
• Arrange short-term or long-term warehousing of your
items if required. Make travel arrangements for pets if required.
3 weeks before the move
• Gather packing and moving supplies in central
location where packing task can be done.
• If you will pack items by yourself, begin packing
with items you will not need immediately or that will go into storage.
• Confirm travel arrangements for family and pets
again.
2 weeks before the move
• If you are moving cars out of town, arrange for car
carrier & transportation service with your mover.
• Terminate newspaper subscription, magazine
subscription and other delivery services.
1 Week before the move
• Accumulate important documents, papers,
certificates, records, and valuables for safe transfer to new home. Carry such
possessions with you only and do not put them onto moving trucks.
• Inform your friends, relatives and neighbors about
your new address and phone number.
